Top 100 Most Influential Women in Construction Award

Top 100 Most Influential Women In Construction Awards

I am delighted to share I have been nominated for the @National Federation of Builders Top 100 Most Influential Women in Construction Awards. It’s amazing to have been recognised for the work I am doing to support women in construction.

These awards are designed to recognise the amazing people we have in the industry doing amazing things so I’m absolutely delighted to be nominated for such a prestigious award. I’ve worked hard over the last four years to raise the profile of women in the construction industry.

By encouraging more women into the sector, we can begin to close serious skills shortages in the industry and address the housing crisis, which at current output fails to address the 300,000 new homes needed every year in the UK.

The shortlist will be announced in July 2023 after a judging process by an independent panel. This year there is also a public vote aspect whereby if the judges are unable to decide between two nominations then the vote will be taken into consideration.

As well as the shortlist for the individual category I will also be entered into the nominations for the overall top 100 Most influential Women in Construction list, this means that even if I am not successful in the categories I may still be recognised in the overall list that is published on the night of the awards.

The event will take place at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham on 4 October 2023.
